Hi, I’m McKenzie!

Are you overwhelmed with current life circumstances, grief, or past traumas? I believe that counseling can be a transformative experience to unpack your burdens with someone who cares and to gain the tools you need to thrive. I provide trauma-informed care with a holistic approach to address your individual needs. I am passionate about walking alongside others in their suffering to provide caring support as they find their footing.

I have personally seen the power of counseling services in my own life and have seen it dramatically change my clients’ ability to cope with the realities of life. Growth comes with many challenges and is not often an easy or straight forward process. My goal as a counselor is to give my clients the support and tools they need to nurture their own growth and to become more resilient and fulfilled people.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. I provide holistic care where I address psychological, emotional, biological, and spiritual factors that may be impacting your wellbeing. I provide faith-based care for individuals seeking to integrate their faith into the counseling process.

When I am not in office, you will likely find me hiking with my husband, curled up with a good book or crochet project, or serving in my local church.
